FAQs

How would you describe your style?

We offer a more documentary and photojournalistic approach with the wedding day. We don’t believe in setting up and redoing special moments that happen throughout the day. We capture the day as it unfolds and tell your story the way it happens. Of course, there are portraits that need to be taken the day of that we are skilled at capturing, but the bulk of our work is capturing every moment as it unfolds.

We’re awkward in front of the camera, is that okay?

Short answer, YES! There’s nothing worse than not knowing what to do with your hands. And let’s face it, most people are awkward in front of the camera. We have multiple ways to combat this! With our many years of experience working with couples, we have perfected our art to bring out each couple’s individual personality in their photos. We strive to make it a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone!

Do you have backups?

Of course! Our cameras have dual card slots providing us with an immediate back up as we take a photo, we back up our images multiple times throughout the day on external hard drives, and back up your images in multiple locations to have many layers of security to protect your images. We also have back up cameras that we bring with us to every shoot. To top it all off, we have an awesome team of 5 other photographers that work with us on a regular basis, so if something were to happen that prevented us from capturing your day, we’ve still got your day covered!

What is your process for booking?

We always try to meet with our couples, or at least talk with them to get to know each other better. It helps us serve you better and we feel it makes you more comfortable in front of the camera. From there, we send over a contract and have you put down a deposit. The deposit is $400 to hold your date.
